A 3-Day workshop on Finland’s Teaching System in RGS Gurukulam

On 5/11/2019, a three-day workshop was launched on the Finland education system by R. G. S. Gurukulama at Shatan Ashram. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Madaneshwar Chaudhuri (Ex Special Officer of Jharkhand Adhivida Parishad ) and Dr. Ashwini Prasad Yadav, (Present Special Officer of Jharkhand Adhivida Parishad (Dumka)).

Guest participants from Finland, Mrs. Virve Linnanen (Child welfare consultant and social teacher ) and Mrs. Kirsi Ferin, (CEO of Ferinefine Oy and Chief of Research and Development – Innocello Ry) were the main leaders of the workshop and were responsible for taking the sessions for the 3-day workshop.


In The Inaugural Speech, Dr. Madaneshwar Chaudhuri gave information about our Indian education system and also said that Finland’s teaching method is first in the world and he is proud to have guest visitors from Finland in helping develop our education system here as well. He believes that together we can be very useful. He appreciated the efforts of Swami Atmananda (Founder of RGS Gurukulam) and Swamini Anuradha Puri. (President of RGS Gurukulam)


The Vice President of Dumka District Council, Shri Ashim Mondal, ‘Amader School’ a school from Sunderban region, West Bengal, K.K.D International School, Giridih, RGS Gurukulam and couple of other institutions from Dumka participated in this workshop.

Finland’s education system is known to be the world’s best and integrating the same with our Indian way of education was one of the founding vision for RGS Gurukulam. This workshop was a very unique event in India which laid the pillars to a stronger bond between India and Finland. All teachers and participating schools were highly benefited and appreciated this greater cause which will give a new dimension to the way of education in the days to come!
